Anna Leela College of Commerce and Economics and Shobha Jayaram Shetty College for BMS has a well-equipped Physical Education & Sports Department providing facilities for major games like Cricket, Football, Handball, and Kabaddi at the Chunnabhatti Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaja Playground and Nehru Nagar Playground, a short distance from the college.
Our College gives importance to maximum participation of students at intercollegiate events held by the University of Mumbai. Facilities for indoor games like Table Tennis, Carrom, and Chess are also available. The Gymkhana provides a well-equipped fitness centre to the staff and students. The College maintains an up-to-date first aid box which includes life-saving drugs.
Every year we organize an Annual Sports Day which provides a platform for each and every student to explore their talent in the field of Physical Education & Sports. Our College also organizes regular Yoga and Meditation Sessions for staff and students, promoting both physical and mental well-being.

Conducted a Suryanamskar Workshop in association with FIT INDIA, Decathlon Thane & Spirit of Yoga on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav.
Celebrated National Sports Day by conducting "National Sports Day Virtual Run 2021" 2.O for students and staff.
Bunts Sangha's Higher Education Institutions Physical Education & Sports Department presented Yoga Abhyasika and Physical Fitness Sessions for Students & Staff. Conducted physical fitness, yoga, aerobics, and Zumba sessions regularly during the pandemic situation.
Conducted a Suryanamskar Workshop with 74 Suryanamskars to celebrate Independence Day, in association with Decathlon Thane, Spirit of Yoga & S. M. Shetty Educational Institute.
Conducted State Level Yoga Workshop Series in association with Spirit of Yoga & Decathlon Thane, under the aegis of the FIT INDIA Movement. Topics covered: Chandra Namskar, Auricular Therapy, and Vinyasa Flow.
Celebrated National Sports Day by conducting the "National Sports Day Virtual Run 2020" for students and staff.
Celebrated International Women's Day by conducting a Health Awareness Program for all staff members. Participants could check and know their BMI, Body Type, Blood Pressure, Heart Rate & Pulse Rate.
On account of National Sports Day, the college conducted Inter-Department Monsoon Sports Event — Mud Football & Mud Cricket. All departments of Higher Education Institutions participated. BMM Department won the Mud Football and B.Com Department of Anna Leela College won the Mud Cricket.
Inter-Zonal Inter-Collegiate Chess Tournament was conducted at Anna Leela College on behalf of University of Mumbai. The tournament was inaugurated by Prof. Prashant Shinde (I/C Principal) and Prof. Uttam Kendre (Director of Physical Education & Sports, University of Mumbai).
The Intercollegiate Women's Individual Chess Championship saw participation from 72 colleges and 127 women chess players. Prizes were presented by Shri Sajjandas Joshi, FIDE Master and National Chess Player.
University of Mumbai Fencing Competition was organized and hosted by Anna Leela College, showcasing the college's commitment to promoting diverse sporting events at the university level.
Inter-collegiate University of Mumbai Carrom competition was hosted by Anna Leela College, attracting talented players from across the university.
Inter-collegiate University of Mumbai Basketball Men & Women tournament was successfully hosted by Anna Leela College, demonstrating the college's capacity to organize major university-level sporting events.
Student Hemant Bhatt from the B.Com stream secured 4th place in the Intercollegiate Athletics Competition at Marine Lines University of Mumbai Sports Pavilion — demonstrating individual excellence in athletics.
International Yoga Day has been celebrated annually by Bunts Sangha Higher Education Colleges. Physical Education & Sports Department, students and faculty from all colleges participate. Events include Yoga Day celebrations and Poster Making Competitions to spread awareness of yoga's benefits.
Bunts Sangha's Higher Education Institutions organizes an Annual Sports Meet every year at Naval Dockyard Ground, Kanjurmarg West, Mumbai — attended by 1100+ students and distinguished guests.
