CDC — Anna Leela College
The College Development Committee (CDC) is the apex planning and governance body of Anna Leela College — responsible for steering the academic, financial, and institutional development of the college in accordance with the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016.
The formation of the CDC committee is as per the circular bearing number AFF/ICC (2018) dated 4th May 2018 of University of Mumbai with regards to the formation of the College Development Committee as per Section 97 of the Maharashtra Public Universities Act, 2016.
The members hold office for a term of 3 years. Any vacancy is filled as per the provisions of the Act. The CDC meets at least 4 times in a year to review progress, plan institutional development, and take strategic decisions for the benefit of the college community.

Prepares the comprehensive Development Plan of the College covering all academic and institutional aspects.
Decides the Academic Calendar, teaching programmes (new & existing), workload, and requirement of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Frames a smooth and transparent admission procedure as per University norms and guidelines.
Gives recommendations to management to encourage research culture, consultancy, extension activities, academic collaborations, and use of ICT in teaching-learning.
Recommends management for approval of Annual Financial Statements and Budget for the college.
Decides welfare schemes for staff & students, events like Annual Day, Sports Day, Intercollegiate Events, Seminars, Conferences, and prizes/awards to be given.
Reviews IQAC & NAAC reports, statutory audit reports, Local Inquiry reports, and suggests suitable corrective actions.
Recommends appropriate steps regarding discipline, safety, and security issues of the college campus.
Prepares and submits the Annual Report of the College to the management and University as required.
Performs such other duties as may be entrusted by the management and the University from time to time.
