The Right to Information Act 2005 grants citizens the right to seek information from public authorities. This ensures transparency and accountability in governance and decision-making.

How to File RTI Application
Step 1: Application Submission
Submit your RTI application in writing to the college’s Public Information Officer (PIO) specifying the information you seek.
Step 2: Application Processing
The PIO will process your application within 30 days as per RTI Act provisions.
Step 3: Response
The requested information will be provided in the format available or certified true copies of documents will be provided as applicable.
📋 Application Format
RTI applications should include:
- Your name and address
- Contact number and email
- Clear description of information sought
- Application fee (if applicable)
⚖️ Appeals
If you are not satisfied with the response to your RTI application, you may file an appeal with the First Appellate Authority within 30 days of receiving the response.
🚫 Exemptions
Some information may be exempt from disclosure under RTI Act 2005 including:
- Information affecting national security and sovereignty
- Personal information of students and employees
- Confidential information received from third parties
- Information protected under other laws
💰 Processing Fees
Information provision is largely free. However, charges for certified copies and physical documents may apply as per RTI Act provisions.

The college also voluntarily publishes key information on its website and office notice board under mandatory disclosure requirements including:

- Placement statistics
- Academic calendar
