Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension
The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE) at Anna Leela College bridges the gap between academic learning and real-world community service — empowering students to create meaningful social change since 2014.
The Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension was established in our college in 2014, to sensitize students with socio-cultural responsibilities. The department offers students extension work projects covering social issues. Degree college students participate in various opportunities provided by DLLE.
Students are encouraged by adding 10 additional marks in the total marks and a Certificate from University of Mumbai after completion of 120 hours of work. Students need to submit the report of their 120 hours of work in the form of a project.
DLLE offers enduring educational opportunities to the interested and deprived students by providing them various platforms to excel. As a well-founded academic Department of the University of Mumbai, the Department is committed to inculcate the highest values of life and understand the grounded realities of society.
The college has started the extension services with a group of 27 students to make them socially aware and responsible. The aim of the extension education is the development of students academically and practically.
