The Placement Committee at Anna Leela College of Commerce and Economics is the sole student body responsible for carrying out all placements related activities. Team placement is a team of highly motivated students, mentored by the dynamic placement team, who work towards achieving the goal of obtaining the desired placement offers for the students in terms of both profiles and organizations to work with. In addition, the placement committee plays an instrumental role in developing and sustaining a mutually beneficial long-term relationship with the industry.

Vision: –

Placement committee of Anna Leela College plans to bridge the gap between industry interface and students thereby ensuring right candidate is placed for right job thereby providing right talent for industry which can help the industry for its overall growth and excellence.

Mission: –

To ensure placement of final year learners by grooming them and making them aware about requirements of industry.

Objectives of Placement Committee: –

1. To find profiles for students with tremendous growth potential.
2. To contact new start-ups and big corporate houses
3. To create a niche for students of Anna Leela College.
4. To develop data base of students as well as corporate houses for ready reference and placement activities.
5. To conduct mock interview sessions for final year students.

• Different set of activities were conducted by the placement committee comprising all the activities needed for a learner to be successfully placed with different corporate houses.
• The academic year started with an aptitude test for all the final year students in order to make them aware about basic general aptitude test format used by corporate houses.
• A session on soft skills and resume development was organized for final year learners wherein they were trained as how a CV has to be made and presented in front of HR when they are facing the interviews.
• Internships are considered as an important part of any student career, interviews were organized by hiring for you India where in 15 students were selected to work with them for internships.
• Final placement for the year started with a pre placement talk by TCS followed by their interviews and aptitude test where in different students from different final year got selected.
• Placement session continued with next opportunity provided by Atos Syntel where in another lot of 15 students got selected.
• The academic year ended with another grooming session organized by Gillet group in association with Hindustan times wherein they focused on grooming skills of our final year learners.
• Off campus interviews were arranged with Reliance Jio.
• Placement Drive was conducted on 12th March, 2017 by TCS at 10.00 a.m. onwards. More than 100 students of TY participated from BAF, BCOM &BMS Departments. There were three Rounds which included Aptitude Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. After the Final Round, 13 students
• Placement Drive was conducted on 28th February, 2017 by TCS at 10.00 a.m. onwards. More than 100 students of TY participated from BAF, BCOM,BMM & BMS Departments. There were four Rounds which included Aptitude Test, General Interview, Personal Interview and HR Round. Training and throughout four Semesters the Candidate should not have any ATKT. At the Final Round, 8 students got selected and received the Offer Letter.
