Department of information Technology had organized a workshop on ‘ANDROID APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT’ from 2nd February to 3rd February, 2018. Mr. Ritesh Gujar Senior Android Application Developer, from Open InfoTech, Pune was the resource person for the workshop.
Total 72 students participated in this workshop from FYBSc IT, SYBSc IT and TYBSC IT classes. The workshop set up was at ground floor computer lab where students got practical hand on session on developing Application in Android Studio.The resource person introduced students with the basics of Android Technology. Students developed more than four android applications under the guidance of resource person.
The workshop was beneficial to the students of Information Technology. Students gained knowledge and skill in Android Application Development with which they can confidently appear for their future interviews particularly in software development.
Code Tadka Programming Competition was organized by dept. of Information Technology in association with Aptech Computer Education, Mumbai to unleash students’ potential in software programming on 2nd February 2017.Competition involved wide range of software programming projects like C, C++, JAVA, WEB Programming etc. Students were supposed to develop an application within two hour. Successful projects were appreciated with reward. Forty students participated in the event. Master Prashant Gupta (SYIT) received first prize and Master Shubham Pandey (SYIT) received second prize. Through the competition the students got introduce to real world scenarios of project.
Department of IT organized an Industrial Visit to Compucom software limited (Jaipur) from 1st September 2015 to 5th September, 2015. Forty two students from FY, SY and TY were taken to this visit along with two faculty members of IT Department as escort. It was two day travelling to reach at Jaipur. On 2nd September students visited to Compucom Software Limited which is one of the leading Software and Education Company. Through this industrial visit students got to know many software’s and programming’s uses in various software and telecommunication industries. Thereafter for sightseeing, students also visited Amber Fort, Jantar Mantar. Apart from all this knowledge gain students enjoyed this Industrial Visit a lot as a trip. They also learnt how to take the responsibilities while they are away from their comfortable niche.
